Adam is a Retirement Benefits Consultant with The Advanced Planning Group, Inc -Raymond James.  As a skilled professional, Adam is an essential member of Rod Smith’s team. Adam specializes in helping our clients understand their Civil Service, and, or Federal Employee Retirement System Benefits while focusing on the client's individual financial objectives.  Adam believes that the most successful retirement planning strategies look at the big picture.  It is this comprehensive, solution-focused approach, delivered with constant personal attention and a commitment to our client's best interests, that sets Adam apart.  Through a clear comprehensive review process, Adam works hard to identify ways to enhance and maximize our client's current income, during their employment years, as well as their retirement income, during the 3 primary phases of retirement: The go-go years, the slow-go years, and the no-go years, 


Adam graduated from California State University Maritime with a Bachelor’ Degree in International Business. He is an active student member of the Financial Planning Association, the African American Association of Financial Advisors, and the Mises Institute of Economics.

 

Adam was an All-Conference Basketball Player at Riverside Martin Luther King High School, where he helped his team to a California CIF Championship during his sophomore year.  Adam was a three-year varsity player and letterman in Basketball at Riverside King, where he served as Team Captain his senior year of high school.  In addition, Adam received both an Academic and Athletic Scholarship out of high school to be a student athlete, in basketball, at Division II Holy Names University, and subsequently transferred, as a scholarship basketball player, to Cal Maritime, where he graduated.

 

When not working, Adam is an avid photographer that enjoys exploring and photographing the cityscapes of New York, its’ Boroughs, and all the natural beauty that Southern California has to offer, with his two dogs Rueben and Phoebe. 85
